IF the moon landing was a hoax why didn't the soviets reveal the hoax?

Question

I saw a docu about the moon landing hoax theories and i had thos simple question. If it was a hoax, it sounds logical that the soviets with their space experience would find out and expose their enemies.
Can anyone answer?

I can't believe there are people that still believe this "hoax stuff" it makes a good but, thin story, that's all.

I've thought that ever since Capricorn I came out. There had to be hundreds, maybe thousands in on the hoax, if it was a hoax. And you can be sure that soviet spies would have picked it up.
And here's that dam*ed flag waving in the breeze nonsense again. jsardi56, show me! Where is this video? I'll bet you've only heard about it. The flag never waved. It moved some when it was being handled. Then all video and still photography shows it as being rock solid after it was put up. How does still photography show that? Look at the wrinkles. They don't change, over several photos.
Girl with K...you didn't bother to read the wikipedia article, did you? You didn't look at the links given, did you? You didn't find a wiki article on just the Apollo mission, without reference to the hoax conspiracy theory, did you?

Although my wife's father performed fuel calculations for the original Apollo landing, I'll spare you that speech. Instead, I will encourage you to watch two programs. The first show is called Conspiracy Moon Landing that it currently showing on the National Geographic Channel and it pretty much obliterates all of the popular conspiracy theories.

I would also encourage you to watch a movie called Capricorn One. Made it 1978, it is a fictional story about a fake mission to Mars. Although it is a science fiction story, it is a good example of how utterly impossible it would be to fake a moon landing for any length of time.

12 men walked on the moon from 1969 to 1972 and we have neither the resources nor the technology to pull off that big of a hoax for so long. Hundreds of thousands of people have worked on the space program. It would be far easier to put someone on the moon than to try and fake it and keep it secret for nearly 40 years.

The landings came at a time when our space program was ultra competitive with the former Soviet Union. Remember how big of a deal it was when Sputnik was put into orbit? They had the technology to monitor our moon shots and transmissions. Don't you think they would have called us out if they had evidence that it was all fake?

Perhaps the most definitive proof of our trip to the moon is what we left behind. For the last 35+ years, scientists have been beaming lasers to the moon and measuring the return times. How are they doing this? The beams are reflected back by equipment left on the moon on at 3 different locations.

Case closed.

First it was not a hoax. As many as were involved in NASA there would be a leak that would have let the info out. But if it was a hoax how did they get the special mirror on the Moon so it would reflect NASA laser so we could do precision tracking of the moon orbit.

I saw a documentary on TV on this subject a couple of years ago. On it they had this soviet era space expert saying how the Russians were tracking the launch and landing of Apollo on radar. They would have loved to show up the Americans, and if it was a hoax you better believe they would have let the world know.

Many people can answer that question, but it involves creating worldwide conspiracies and subverting whole branches of science to the requirements of a hoax, rather than actually learning about the reality of the situation.

The evidence in favour of Apollo is vast. It is rather telling that those who claim to have indisputable evidence of fakery don't even know half the evidence exists, and more often than not have no understanding of the science. It's a sad sad state of affairs that some people find it easier to believe it was all faked than that we really achieved something amazing.

P.S. DON'T get the book Dark Moon - Apollo And The Whistelblowers. I did, when I was still uncertain about the truth of Apollo. That book did more than most to convince me that it was all real and that the authors had no clue about what they were discussing, and were outright lying in places. The authors of that book have a website. Did you know that website used to have a discussion forum? Did you know it got closed down because too many people used that discussion forum to ask the authors to defend some of their arguments? Did you know that one of their arguments hinged totally on a piece of film being supposedly from Apollo 12, but when the authors were shown that no-one apart from them, least of all NASA itself, ever claimed that film was from Apollo 12 they said it didn't matter? Did you know that in their claculations they claim to be able to identify a feature on a photo to within 10 microns, despite the film not having that resolution, and that they also claim to locate the 'face' on Mars to within 100 microns, despite using a picture in which one pixel represents several tens of metres?

I don't see why you people still believe in this "hoax" nonsense. Are you that paranoid that you don't trust your country, that everything it does is a lie, scheme, or cleaver way to hide their mistakes... And i think that if Russia had even the SLIGHTEST idea that there was something going on in the American space program they would have outed us way before now... Plus there is not one single "conspiracy" that y'all have come up with that we have not explained, including the flag waving, the shadows, the film, the "ghost camera man" and every other little question you had..... So learn to know when you've been beat, the Russians did...

Read "Nasa Mooned America" (reference below.) The story goes that the USA faked the first moon landing to give them more time to actually land on the moon. The Soviets also needed more time and thought that now the that pressure was off NASA they might beat us to the moon at which point they could announce the fake. Unfortunately NASA made it to the moon for real before the Soviets could and at that point they didn't want to say anything either because it was a source of great shame that they had been beaten. Just as someone with a warrant doesn't want to call the police even when they should.

Why didn't the Soviets reveal the moon hoax? Simple. Money, or rather corporate money never squeals on itself. Let me ask you this. Who originally financed the Russian Revolution? It was America's Kuhn Loeb and Rockefeller interests that sent Trosky from New York with a bag full of money and a passport to Russia. Also, it was Germany who put Lenin on a train full of gold sent to Russia via Switzerland to help establish the Bolshevik government. Remember too, the Harriman family and Armand Hammer had business interests with the Russians/Soviets well before the so-called space race took effect. It was at the Yalta Conference that agreements were met by the Americans, British, French and the Soviets that enabled the planned cooperation of dividing up the spoils of German rocketry, technology and Nazis at large. To presuppose that each nation's technological achievements are mutually exclusive is presumptuous. What most Americans, and for the most part the people of world do not understand, is that there are two tiers that govern our planet. The first is the above board nation state that provides the unwitting cover for the unelected globalist corporate elite. The second tier is comprised by the elite members of the multinational corporations and international bankers who control and finance the economies through such organizations as The Royal Institute of International Affairs (founded in 1920), The Council of Foreign Relations (founded in 1921), The Bildeberg Group (founded in 1954), and the Trilaterlists (founded in 1973). These are the world governing bodies that work behind the scenes covertly in order to control the 7 M's of power: Media, Markets, Muscle (military), Medical, Money (finance), Morals (religion), and Minds (Academia). For the Soviets to reveal NASA's (America) moon hoax would be to reveal the very same money that got them up and running. The Russians and the Americans, along with the French, British and now the Chinese are all dependent on the largesse they get from globalist institutions such as: the IMF, WBO, WHO, BIS (headquarters are in Switzerland), WTO and the WWF. It is for this reason that Switzerland was nuetral during WWI & WWII which provided the money to the allies and the axis countries alike. The axiom regarding the "Golden Rule" : "He who controls the gold makes the rules." Now tell me. Who is going to squeal on who?! Some would say that this would be impossible to hide! I agree. Information (Media) must have a context, thus forming a consensus for people to discern reality versus fiction. If neither is available at the public level then the debate is already dead in the water. It is treated as a non-event. It is the proverbial "elephant in the living room." However, as the author Tom Clancy had said on C-SPAN right after the 9/11 attacks: "You can't classify the truth. It defies the laws of physics. The truth is out there (no pun intended). It is up to you to find it, put it together,and give it a context."

Addendum: Why wouldn't Jason T. allow you the oppurtunity to get the book and make up your mind for yourself? It is for this reason that you should get the book and study Percy & Bennett's argument. This book is one of the best researched and sourced books available that explains the moon hoax. As far as Jason T's critique of the authors, beware. The internet is full of disinformation and misinformation about the moon hoax in general. Only through an in depth study using books can you get an UNABRIDGED understanding of a thesis. I have taken the time to show you the behind the scenes look at power. That power will also extend to the internet (media) and their corporate controlled cronies. The major publishing houses are controlled this way. The small publishing press do not have the same restraints. Please, get the book for the very reason Jason T. doesn't want you to have. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Addendum: Johnny B. How did we get sojourner on Mars? How did we get the Mars Lander on Mars? An unmanned probe could just as easily deploy a mirror on the surface of the moon. There's probably all sorts of probes from both the United States and Russia on the moon. The so-called moon rocks could have been ordinary rocks that were irradiated in an earth based lab. The lunar soil samples were probably in all likelihood scooped up by the probes and jettisoned back to earth.
