Just a thought.

Personally, i think both are overused with little or no meaning or understand of the concept.

I'd probably plump with sorry, i've told more people i've been sorry when i havn't than telling them i love them when i dont.

Sorry is overused, but it has so many different degrees that it's hard to tell whether it has meaning or not. When we bump into somebody, for example, we say sorry. We might not even like the person, but we still apologise!

On the other hand, if I really upset a close friend, I struggle to say sorry, because it's quite... well, quite embarrassing. It seems as if it is used so often that it has no meaning for big issues like that - it's as though there should be a better word to apologise with.

I think sorry as people say it and dont actually mean it,its just a word, I tend so say I didnt mean that rather than sorry unless I am genuinely sorry, and I would never say I love you to someone if I didnt.....

That's a really tough question. If I had to choose, I would say sorry. So many people say it all the time for little things. Like if they bump into you, they say sorry when they really don't care at all. It's just polite to say. Come to think of it, I have only had one sincere apology in my entire life for all the bad things people did to me.

But then, I have had a lot of men tell me they love me when they really did not...

Hard question to answer! Thanks for making me actually think, haha.

I don't tell anyone I love them if I don't....And when I say I'm sorry, I mean it...Because I don't love that many people, I don't have occasion to hurt someone where I care enough to be sorry for it...

That is a very good question and I too think that they are both used equally with the least meaning...
I know I use both with very little meaning behind it.....except when it comes to a few people in my life....

Sorry. ITs not thrown around as much as love. If so by the same person then yeah, it can get old
