Well, you have a right to your opinion. If barbie did not provide pleasure or fun to the owner than the toy would not keep being purchased by buyers. Barbie is a popular eBay item being bought and sold by the thousands. There are thousands of collectors of Barbie. Little girls keep asking for them. Therefore, it is no wonder why it is a popular item of conversation. Look, even you by asking this question makes people talk about Barbie. What other doll has been written about so extensively by artists, students, professors, columnists, bloggers, teachers, and collectors? What other doll has been so used by artists besides the written form? They keep buying them new and used from stores, internet, flea markets, and yard sales, Can you now understand why it is so much of a conversation topic.

its the same reson girls play with those Bratz dolls and all of those stuff. most girls are around the age where they want o become more independent. they want to start dressing and undressing themselves. maybe dressing and undressing the dolls makes them feel more confident in doing it.
