When my husband and I became engaged, we both went to the jewelry store. His ring did not cost a fraction of mine, and I did not buy him a watch or any additional gift (honestly, I didn't know to).
To answer your question, no, he didn't care what kind of ring, but he got a nice one. He was just glad he was marrying me, lol! I was also glad!

My husband just wanted a plain gold band for his wedding ring, I wanted something nicer with diamonds, so we both just picked our own and asked what the other thought of it. We agreed on our choices and got it. It does not have to be pricey, it's the symbol of your love for each other.

My hubby picked my engagement ring (we had talked about what I wanted previously)... and I let him pick out our matching wedding bands. They were on the pricey side, so it made him happy. For our one year anniversary, he got a very nice heavy gold bracelet and I got a charm bracelet and charm. THAT kinda evened things out. Don't be to stressed about being "fair" as long as he's happy.

My husband picked out the one he wanted. I think that was only fair - I picked out my engagement ring and wedding ring. He picked his. He never takes it off

the element approximately men and rings is they never positioned on any and have no clue what's obtainable to them. i be attentive to no men who positioned on earrings, hence, they have not a clue what they choose in metallic, thickness or layout. So i wouldn't in any respect pass forward and %. my guy's ring with out him because of the fact I do have faith he desires to work out it and choose one HE loves. So, i could take him out and %. out a pair of earrings. Then, i could pass back and choose one from his selections. this style he gets precisely what he needs and you supply him what he needs. in any different case that is in easy terms a guessing sport and you will rigidity your self nuts asking your self all of those questions.

We picked our wedding bands together. The meaningful part came from the act of choosing them together.
