Baking soda and vingar first then wipe with warm water. I use it all the time get all kinds of grease off the stove and counter tops.

A soapy dish cloth does the trick. Just wash it down and let it dry.

Unless you mean you spilled a bottle. If that is the case, take a credit card, hold the trash can at the edge of the counter and scrap it into the can.

Mop up the worst of the spill with paper towels or whatever, then dump some granulated sugar on it. The sugar will pick up almost everything that's left. Rub it around a little, then scoop it up with a spatula.

Give the remainder (and there won't be much) a shot with Fantastik or 409 or whatever spray cleaner you have handy.

If it's a small spill a warm damp cloth is probably enough. Otherwise, some dishsoap on a cloth. I didnt' realize veg oil was that much of an issue to clean up. I've never found it to be so.

Use vinegar or lemon juice. Both are great for cleaning grease.
