Yes, it does. the availabilty of men and women on the internet waiting to pounce on you is amazing so it's right in your face (sort of). People in person usually restrain themselves, but on the computer, it's there in front and u can talk a lot more openly. And meet them after you have developed a relationship online that otherwise may not happen if you actually walked down the street and ran into each other.

No, I was not a cheater before Internet and i'm not a cheater now. Internet just allow people to talk about it more that is why it feels like it's becoming overwhelming. People who use the Internet to cheat would use other mean if it didn't exist.

Yep. It's a fact. Divorce rates skyrocketed after '95 when home internet use became the norm.

My first marriage disolved because my husband turned to porn and then I discovered chat...and it was me who left.

My second marriage was good, I thought, until I discovered that he was a complete and total ultra-porno-addict that made my first husband's porn use pale by comparison. Now how will this story turn out?

absolutely i do my wife has a whole slew of guys on my space from what i see its all innocent but she knows a great deal more about computers than i do so she has the capability to hide anything from me she does not want me to see. she recently locked me out of her my space account and her e mail she claI'ms that we need some degree of privacy or we will go insane. i think she is just wanting to flirt with other guys and me not know about it. im just worried about when she finds someone local. i mean i suppose if she wants to talk dirty to some guy and i reap the benefits who the hell am i to complain. i guess it depends on what you consider infidelity if my wife wants to have an on line fantasy with some guy 1500 miles away i think that's just more spicing up her life if she actually goes to meet the person that is where i would draw the line.
