"Hydrochloride" is only part of the name of the medicine. Chemical names are not just a single word -- there is calcium hydrochloride, potassium hydrochloride, etc. Tell us the full name and we might be able to advise you.

But first check the package insert or ask your pharmacist about the side effects. (Don't be embarrassed -- lots of people ask similar questions.) That way you will get accurate answers for the exact medication you are taking, not guesses based on a partial name.
