What, in your mind, does "wrong" mean?

Do you mean "am I being selfish", "immoral", "unethical"? Because, I don't think that being a loner/introvert should mean any of those things.

On the other hand, it does mean that people you know may think you don't like them much, if you don't like to hang out with them. If you want to be friends, then you need to be sensitive to their needs and hang out with them at times when you would prefer to be alone.

A relationship isn't about what you get for yourself, and satisfying your needs. It is about helping others, despite what you need, with the hope that, if the relationship is true, that the someone else will be doing the same thing for you.

One thing to consider - is it really that you prefer to be by yourself, or is it that you are afraid of being hurt, or perhaps you are shy, or just feel uncomfortable because you don't have a lot of experience getting to know other people?

No not wrong at all. I often like being on my own and doing my own thing. sometimes people get in the way and I cant do what I really want to do. I do like people though and love being with them but not all the time. I find so many things to do and my day goes so quickly.

Nah - you just like some peace and quiet i spose.

Of course its unhlealthy not to want to socialise at all, and don't let your preference get the better of you so your friends realize you don't want to be with them, becasue they won't want to hang out with you and then you won't have the option anymore.

A healthy mix of each is fine, but you do need to learn to feel more comfortable socialising.

No of course not - are you genuinelly happy in your own company? If the answer is yes, then there's no problem.

If, however, you don't want to be around people because there is some issue with how you see yourself, and really you are lonely but too scared to be with other people, then that is something different.

No. There are benefits to both options. Some people may prefer being alone over being with friends as it allows you time with yourself and time to sort things out, a sort of meditation.

According to Myers-Briggs, you may be an INTROVERT rather than an Extravert. I'm very glad you seem to be a nice person and are not a pervert.

Wrong?, No. It comes down to personnal preference. Some people are better off by themselves. I myself like to be by myself. BUT when I go riding on my Harley, I would prefer to have someone to ride with.

Same with me. I like to spend quality time with myself! I'm around people all day, run errands for a homebound friend, and there's nothing I enjoy more than my quiet time.
