So her supervisor mentioned that since my girl quit unexpectedly shes not going to give her her check until monday. Can she do that?

They can do that. In fact the US Department of Labor laws state that if a person quits their job, the employer has up to the next pay period to give them their pay. If a person is fired or terminated, they must receive their pay within three days.

I had a very similar situation and researched it.

Is Monday her usual payday? The supervisor doesnt have to give her a check until her usual payday. However if her payday is Friday then she can call the Labor Relations Board and report the supervisor if there is no check waiting for her.

Depends on the laws in your state.

In Indiana there is a 48 hour rule. In Kentucky the check has to be available the next pay day.

Have her call the wage and withholding board in your state to find out or research it online.

yea. But due to the fact that your Girlie Quit, She would have to wait for the next pay-date or the next business day.
Her Super can also take out for any cost that occur during her employment !

Yeap.. he or she can do like that becuase a worker cannot quit the company without having minimum reporting time.

Yes, and they may even just mail it to her.... That can happen..as well..
