This is what I try to stick to
If something your worried about/ thinking about isn't going to help you or that in a year or even 6 months you would have forgotten about then why waste your time worrying or thinking about these things?
If something is going to better your future...your life and your general outlook on life then its worth the time!

....and believe me...its made a huge diffrence in prioritising stuff my life.

My principle is even simpler. I only have the power to change myself. I look within myself each day. Try to improve based on the lessons I learnt all the other days.
It something I have learnt with time, but I never think 6 months ahead. I had a car crash, and although I escaped, I was finally jolted out of being in my little world where I had time to do everything, and death was only on the news.

Principle, live for the second. Don`t waste even one!
Never be afraid to listen, make a change, believe in yourself.
If you change yourself only slightly in a positive way, then you changed the world for the better. I love saying to myself I am going to change the world today. It really makes me feel important.

Don't ever give up on your dreams.
Ever since I saw Roger Moore being chased up the Eieffel Tower by Grace Jones in Live and Let Die, I realised that the world is insane and anything is possible. Have a dream and quest for it. My journey has been incredibly difficult and there are another 2yrs before I'm qualified to do my dream job and leave UK forever!

"Don't regret anything you do, and don't do anything you'll regret."

It keeps me from feeling the necessity of apologizing, since I would be insincere if I apologized for something I meant to do. The effects my decisions have on other people on the other hand are out of my control, so I generally don't make them a factor.

And, "When you allow others to affect you, your thoughts or feelings, you are giving them the power and permission to do so."

This helps me keep from getting sensitive and butt-hurt when people try to insult me, mostly because they're not worth my time and I refuse to give them that power over me.

I believe "Nothing Lasts Forever"

Therefore, I enjoy the good times while they last and get through bad times knowing they won't last forever.

My principle is suffer and gain. do not depend on any body for anything for you can be disappointed. use the body God gave you and add prayers to it and you are done.
No helper more than God.
