I agree with the first 2 answers. My family owns multiple construction companies around Maryland and that's about right for them as well, but normally my Uncles don't do "noisy" work before 9 am, so they're not disturbing the peace in towns and neighborhoods. If you tell them a certain time though if it's your place, or make a complaint in a nice way to them if it's a home near you but not you, chances are they will take it into consideration as long as it's not a rush-rush job.

Sad is right. So is making me downright angry because it's pretty obvious that we need to find out exactly what he has going on and why. To help a country who made it clear it hated the US to the point of threatening to kill Bush to the point where they want to be joined at the hip with this president. The president who took a book as a gift from it's leader on how to run a country as a dictator in my words. When he shut down our drilling not only did it cause lost jobs but put us at risk depending on other countries for oil. Add to the fact he now wants to dip into our reserves to help with gas costs? I'm sure he'd like to drain that dry so then he will eventually get us where he wants us.

Since time limits on construction are normally for the purposes of disturbing the neighbors, there should be no reason to limit inside construction that does not make much noise outside the home - say a jack hammer on concrete. Around here, when there ARE limits, they are 7am anyway.

Usually no construction noise before 7 am on Monday through Saturday, and all day Sunday. Check with your city planning dept.

It all depends on the regulations in your area. Check with your City or County building department.
