I am pretty sure I couldn't do it - my younger brother worked for my father for a while, though - so I know it can work.

It depends on which member. Some I would say, "NO WAY JOSE!!" and some I wouldn't mind. It depends on the person's attitude and their work ethic AND if they can separate their work life from their personal life while on the job.

I do already! Both me and my younger sister work at the same theatre. It's a little odd, but we're both good enough at our respective jobs to be able to work together without any personal crap getting in the way.

Yes,
I actually worked for an insurance company and my daughter was my supervisor.

It was a bit tricky remembering to call eac other by christian name and I kept my head down so as not to need singling out by the supervisor so as not to cause any ill feeling between ourselves or others.

WE are good friends so it was ok.

It depends if what you want is to achieve a successful career of your own or to earn more money. Family business is one the best ways of earning money as a whole, because one of the hardest parts in business is to start one. But if you ARE capable of earning more than your family business, then answer is clear.

No, I personally can see it affecting our relationship if any problems arose from the job.

However, I do know people who are from the same family working together!

I don't think so because working together may create problems that means having problems with a near person from you that you surly want to avoid having problems with him you don't need this trust me.

NO, I have my certain ways of doing things & I tend to be more organized then my family , so I'd
drive them crazy or they would drive me crazy, besides I'm always early to everything & my Mom
is always LATE so that would drive me crazy too .
