200 years ago there weren't that many people With so many people in the US today why don't they take a few days or even a week to decide one of the most "important" decisions?? More people would vote they could fix any booth malfunctions after the first day and so many other things would be better. Is it in the constitution that you only get a day or where does that come from? It needs to change!

With absentee ballots and some states having more than one day, it is not a problem. The deadline is in the constitution and some procedures. The main law is the one where states are held harmless and there votes are guaranteed to be accepted if they follow certain things.
With all these changes, you are getting more voter fraud.
Is it good to have more people vote, who do not really know what or who they are voting for?

In the last Presidential election about 110 million votes were cast for the candidates. With electronic balloting the process will get better. We don't need more than one day. I think the voting day should be shifted to Sunday. More people will vote, or will have time to vote.

200 years ago the bulk of the country was rural. Do you realize how long it took most people to get to a town where they could vote? Are we truly so spoiled and lazy that now when it takes maybe a half-hour or an hour of our time , we need more than one day?

why would you need more than one day to vote? Can't you liberals get enough dead people to vote? Do you need more time to scour the cemetary? give me a break.
