You and your friend decide to go over to her house for a bit. You tell your husband that you will be back in like 20 minutes. Well, you go to your friend's house, and you know how females get, you both start yapping away and before you realize it, an hour has gone by. When you realize that, you immediately call your husband to let him know that you are on your way home. However, when you tell him that, he replies, "No! Give me 10 minutes.". Of course, you question him because you are thinking what the ****, right? Well, he says, "I will come and get you guys in 10 minutes." You are somewhat puzzled about that because the house that you are at is only a block for yours. All you have to do is cross a playground to get home… you can see your front yard from your friend's patio in her backyard. So, you pass the phone to your friend and she talks to your husband. She gets the same story.

Do you there is something weird about this situation or is it just me?

He just might not be up to anything mischievous but at the same time he might be. You just try not to allow it bother u if it's the first time you've had any cause to suspect him. If it's not, pay more attention. don't try confronting him cause he'll definitely deny it. Just keep your eyes open. Good luck.

I think it's weird, but give him a chance to explain. Maybe he was cooking dinner for you or trying to clean the house for you or something and just didn't want you home yet to ruin the surprise. Try to have an adult and honest conversation with him about it and see what happens.

I'm sure being his wife that you'll be able to tell if he's lying when you discuss things. It seems to come natural with couples. My husband and I can read each others' faces no matter what. Let him know you don't appreciate his secretiveness about the situation.

It's not clear if he'd have legitimate reasons to want to come get you himself...for instance, does it make a difference as to what time of day or what kind of neighborhood it is? Maybe he was looking at porn and needed to finish or tidy up. Maybe he was on an interesting phone call with a friend gossiping or a phone sex operator. Maybe he was on Yahoo! Answers helping confused husbands. Who knows. What happened when you asked him why he is acting weird? Does he often give you reason to doubt or mistrust him?

HE'S CHEATING ON YOU. . . . Just kidding. Honestly if you tell your husband in the first place that you'll be gone for only 20 minutes even if he knows it might take longer his probably be out of his mind to use that window to cheat. He probably just have some stuff that he needed to alone. He's maximizing the time and space that the opportunity gave him.

Maybe he was watching a X rated movie or a game, and he did not want to be bothered.
