I have a 4x2x2 foot viv with a ceramic bulb and UV strip light both on for aprox 12 hours a day. Roughly how much electricity (and therefroe money) does this use per day or month.

As an added extra I occasionally use a waterfall in there too with a pump. If you could tell me this amount seperately that would be great.

Any help would be very useful!!! My housemate is trying to blame me for massive electricity bills

This site will help you calculate it depending on where you are (in the U.S I assume). Cost varies significantly from state to state.

You will need to add the watts from your ceramic and your UV which are both written on the bulbs. The wattage that your pump uses should be on the bottom somewhere.

I think you must be referring to a vivarium for keeping reptiles. lighting for reptile vivarium needs to be kept on for a few hours. I am not sure about the cost but it should use a lot of power.
