thank goodness for your question Rachie .I've had a question deleted too, as the individual who complained obviously didn't like the way i responded to their comments ., mine was re the paedophile on jeremy kyle, and the comment was why do i bother complaining...supposedly from a young woman who had been a victim herself. to me this didn't sound like someone who had been hurt by these individuals. and yes. i do know because i've counselled abuse victims....i did actually state that no offense was meant, and it WAS only my opinion, which were all entitled too, and hey presto...question deleted...or was it that someone took offense to my description of the paedophiles loving loyal wife who had given up her daughter to stick by him......if you don't agree rachie..they zap you. so yes i'm with you.

There are many good reasons for reporting abuse here on Yahoo.

The 'Report Abuse' function serves the same purpose as reporting abuse does in real life ~ it helps make our community a safer and more enjoyable place for the majority of people.

But yes, absolutely, I agree Yahoo should investigate thoroughly before deleting.

Best wishes :-)

I believe that in extreme cases that management should exercise some type of authority within the guidelines...I see questions that really should have never made it from a hateful mind to posting for any period of time. The same applies with the answers.

The Yahoo ModBots don't care. Its easier to delete first and wait until you question it, then they send you the usual automated response.
A 'democratic' way of saying 'We don't give a crap. Suck it up."
