My bf is really into cars, its a hobby of his that obviously means alot to him. I myself have never had a particular interest and know nothing. I would however like to learn because it is really important to him. I was wondering if anyone had any facts or information that they find interesting about cars in general, or 1 specific type/model of car, that might grab my interest. Much appreciated x

Hey girl, I can relate! The best thing I ever did was suggest going to a car (actually a truck) show with my boyfriend. I found one nearby that was coming up and he was elated. I also expressed my interest in learning so he was willing to teach me alot. I kept telling him to keep it simple, I'm a blonde and don't know what he's talking about but I did learn a lot that day! The more you hang out with him and his cars the more you'll learn. I know things now that I don't even know why I know them! If he has a favorite car, try reading up on it a little bit but more than anything ask him questions and ask him to show you stuff. Men love sharing their knowledge with a captive audience!

I would suggest asking your boyfriend to show you a few things. If you want to share that particular interest with him then what better way to do it then to have him teach you. As to which car would grab your interest, only you can figure that out. Good luck.

If you want to share his interest, you should ask him to show you some things, or just ask questions while you're around him. As a mom, I feel that learning it separately seems a little bit needy. It would be the same way if you loved something and he decided to learn more about it in order to be closer to you.

And that's another thing you could ask yourself: would he?
