No way would Stevie G leave Liverpool.
His just signed a new contract and if Real Madrid couldn't tempt him for £30 million how and why would he ever wanna go to Man Utd?
Steven Gerrard is one of the loyalist LFC players and Liverpool means too much to him
He has won quite a few thing's with Liverpool and has alot of medals.
Besides when was the last time Man Utd won one of their 2 European Cups?
Liverpool are up and coming to win the Premiership and even if the coming season is another blow I will always be loyal and upbeat about the true mighty reds.

I can see why Fergie would want him, but United already have a stupidly strong midfield, and with the addition of Hargreaves in the summer there wouldn't be any point in getting Gerrard. Plus Stevie G would NEVER leave Anfield for United EVER!!!

I doubt Steven Gerrard will ever be playing for Machester United. I think he'll play for Liverpool in his whole career. He started out at the Liverpool Academy and he's now captain so I doubt he will leave Anfield for Manchester United. Its so impossible. I also cannot imagine him in a Man United shirt it will look kind of weird. Anyway, I doubt Rafa Benitez will sell their captain, one of the best midfielders in the world, to United. why will he wanna sell his best player to a rival club? n I think 25 million pounds is not enough for a talent like Gerrard, he's priced much more than that man.

I suspect that would mitigate against him leaving... he also has more European medals (1 Champions League winners, one runner up, 2 Super cup winners medals and 1 UEFA cup winners medal) than any Man Utd player (probably any Man Utd player ever, in fact), along with a couple of FA cups and 2 League cups. Slightly more than Shearer, then....

Ready to bet 100bucks those are just rumors. In his last contract there were no release clause, not sure about this 1. and steven Gerrard is worth more than 25mill, last time Chelsea offered a contract for Gerrard it was 35, he is worth more now.
