She's the moderator since Rosie quit. Joy doesn't want to be the moderator and Elisabeth isn't capable. If she weren't there, there'd only be a guest co-host & Joy & Elisabeth. You need at least 4 at the table. Plus she thinks she's the only one who could lead the group to commercial properly. lol

I never figured out how Baba Walters got to be so famous and I think she's a control freak. Offerred a $1 million annual salary, Walters accepted a job at ABC as the first woman co anchor of a evening news program in October 1976. Probably because she does not have a lot of other projects going on right now. Plus, whether you liked Rosie or not, she was entertaining and their ratings were the highest they have ever been in the history of the show. With Rosie gone, the show feels like something is missing. Maybe B. Walters thinks her presence can make up for it. Besides, media people, like her, love to see themselves on TV in the news or anywhere because they crave attention. They live their lives to be seen, heard and talked about. That's why they are in the business in the first place.

You mean old mumbles, she is so puffed up with her own importance. I never did get why everyone thought she was the be all and end all of the reporters and interviewers......I always thought she sucked, big time......she believes her own press, you know, a legend in her own mind. UGH !!! Go away already, I don't think anyone would really miss that stupid show or her.

She seems to think she has control of the show, and people will watch her instead of Rosie. I think she has started to lose her mind. Did you see the attitude she gave to the guest co-host Star today? She introduced her as "she had four abortions..." Plus, she was on Ryan Seacrest saying things about sex and Rosie O'Donnell.

She is there every day, because when she isn't, **** hits the fan. Case in pont, Rosie and Elisabeth gettin crazy with each other.
