Speechless! I do know two couples that this has happened to though. The one the wife left the husband after 26 years of marriage for a woman, and my friends hubby just took off making that same announcement after 7 years of marriage. I think this is more popular than people think. Unfortunately in both cases there were kids involved.

Well, I would go and see ; the solicitor for a divorce
the doctor about an AIDS test
And the two-timing, lying ******'s boyfriend, so I can give him a sex-change operation involving a pair of scissors!! I would also drag the ****** I stupidly got married to, to the shrink for electric shock therapy! Again, I will have a pair of scissors in my hand- should he refuse to go!
I do apologise for my outburst- I feel this question is a bit close to home! My hubby's mate recently announced that he was "Bi-curious" and fancied my hubby as his first bloke poke!!!

Pretty gutted I would imagine!
I had this conversation with two male work collegues in the pub last Friday- they said they wouldnt feel as bad if their gf left them for another girl- cos if its a man they would feel like they did something wrong or werent enough, whereas if it was a girl they would know they would never be able to compete with a girl no matter how much of a great guy they are!
I dont agree though!

Well, obviously the relationship would have to end, because to stay married wouldn't be fair to either of us.
I'd be a little disappointed, and maybe angry at first, that he hadn't told me sooner.
But I'd accept that it wasn't anything I'd done, that he was just coming to terms with something that had always been a part of him.
I'd stay friends with him and support him if he had yet to come out to friends and family...just be there for him because it must be hard to come out, especially after having built up a heterosexual life.
I'd then get on with my life, spending time with my friends and family, getting used to being single again.
I wouldn't desert him, though.
