i have a friend who I have had the biggest thing for, we have known each other 5 yrs
I was with someone at the time and had a child by my(ex hub) but since my friend was around everyone thought it was his My daughter was born in 2003 now my friend and I have got in touch again and today he told me he wants to be a daddy now I need opinons here is he saying he want's to be a dad to my daughter or he wants me to give him the chance of being a real dad
(my ex walked out 2 yrs ago) I am still very much in love with my friend what should I do

Take it one step at a time.
Are you dating your friend now?
Don't try to rush into anything, or over think what he meant.
If you are really good friends, them come out and ask him what he meant when he said, I want to be a daddy now.

I think you should do the best thing for your daughter. I think if you guys are going to be together than go for it but always be honest with her. I don't think he should try and be daddy if you guys aren't gonna be together, like a family environment.

If you are legally divorced and you are in love with each other, you can marry and then he can become a real dad when you have a child for him.

do it just do it Its perfect, as long as hes a respectable man
and treats you right do it. its economically and emotionally a good thing, your daughter needs a male role model so she doesnt grow up to be promiscuos. and you need someone in your life that is going to be there for you.

You need to talk to him and clarify things....sounds like there is a definite chance y'all have mutual feelings. Just talk to him, and ask what he meant.
