I am planning a once-in-a-lifetime trip to go boarding in Whistler. We are looking for great snow and good weather (blue skies?). Any help would be grately appreciated.

In most north american resorts the best snow and conditions are in Feb. and March. Sometimes spring sking can be good with great blue skies but you can't count on the snow levels. So you have a choice. Go for great snow and the chance of blue skies or go for great skies and the chance of decent snow. My choice would be early march. Good luck with that.

WHistler has an incredibly long season, and as longas you don;t go during the first few weeks or the last month and half you will have great snow. But historically the best snowfall and most snowfall is mid December throught mid Febraury, but with the crowds during the holiday season I would wait until aftet the 1st of the year.

Here is a link to the weather stats for the past six years or so.

If you want a better chance of sun and don't care if the snow will be softer and stickier than you can go in late March to mid May and get sping skiing and have a better chance of sunny weather.

With its extensive areas and fairly equable weather keeping temperatures moderate throughout every season, Vancouver is really a paradise and today, you've the opportunity to learn it with hotelbye . Vancouver is has a active national life. One of many areas worth visited in Vancouver is Granville Island. Once mostly professional, Granville Island is now a thriving heart of task with a calm and distinctive atmosphere. Musicians and shops have transferred in to converted warehouses alongside houseboats, theatres, galleries, and restaurants. The Granville Island Public Market is certainly one of the most used attractions selling fresh fruit and veggies, seafood, and a great selection of different specialties as well as ready-to-eat items. Maybe not truly an island, the arts heart is connected to residential parts by one road and footbridges to the south, and to the Downtown peninsula (across False Creek) by ferry.
