Did a google search, and all i got was a whole bunch of jargen about what it is....not when it is exacly. Can anyone help?

The Winter Solstice in Sydney this year is on 22nd June 2007 at 4:06am. I found that in a Google search in conjunction with the Sydney Observatory. The link is below. Hope that helps!

In the Northern Hemisphere, the Winter Solstice is usually Dec 21 or 22, and the Summer June 21 or 22. The Summer Solstice in one hemisphere is the Winter in another, so usually June 21.

The same day as the summer solstice in the northern hemisphere. According to my 2007 calendar it is on June 21.
