Sure. I hate wearing shoes. I'm barefoot right now. And quite happy about it.

Don't have socks and shoes to trade in, I'm already barefoot.
And it's not true most stores won't let you in; while quite a few stores in the US do have a sign saying shoes must be worn, there are also many stores that don't give a hoot. And it's NOT against the law, there are no Health Department regulations, insurance companies don't require or even recommend shoes for customers and it's not against the law to drive barefoot.

Sure. I would give up a pair of shoes and socks for free groceries. When I buy groceries I usually spend over 100 bucks.
I would go in my old stinky shoes.

umm hard question.... maybe I could go wearing the worst pair of shoes I have... or else I'd make sure I pick up a lot of stuff... enough to make up for the price of the shoes... however, I wouldn't mind trading my socks for groceries... they'll probably die of intoxication anyway!

My socks, yes, because I've got plenty.
But never my shoes.
Although, it depends on how many free groceries I can get and how long I can get them.

just how much free groceries are we talkin about here? I have some crappy shoes I wouldn't mind gettin rid of, and I could definately fill a cart.....
also, could we shop in a different state? in KS, we cannot buy alcohol (except 3.2 beer) in a store, and I would like a little scotch in my basket.

No, it only costs me about $200 a month to eat. My mortgage is several times that price if I have no shoes I wouldn't be allowed to go to work or enter any stores or restraunts. $2400 a year is not worth my job or the quality of life that I have.

sock, sock, footwear after. If a fireplace alarm sounds, i will grab the footwear & run out in socks or if I surely have time, in simple terms slip on the footwear. it is greater appropriate than working with one shoe on & the different one off. BTW, this is a stupid Q.
