Dating is dating, it does not mean you are engaged, or committed to one person until thats been vocalized and agreed upon.
Dating has 2 different purposes for men. For some it is just a way to get sex and if you dont give it they will dump you soon. Then theres the other purpose and that is to find a mate to spend your life with. Those guys who are looking for a mate and sincerely care about you will be patient about waiting for sex. They will think your worth waiting for.
Once you have sex on a date the guy has no reason to marry you. He is getting what he wants.
As for the other dating tips I'll let the women handle those.

just have fun. it's probably a little early to say, but don't do anything (even a kiss) if u don't think ur ready. and don't expect everything to be smooth. there is really no 'right' way to date, as long as ur being safe. i'm sure he's probably just as nervous as u r!

p.s. it may sound a lil harsh, but don't expect to not get hurt. there's a VERY good chance that he's not the one for u, and u may date 20 more guys before u find someone u could be happy with. i know that's hard to imagine now cuz i would never have admitted that with my first, serious boyfriend (and we dated for 5 months... that's a long time in junior high!). but now years later, even though we still talk, we're living completely different lives in different relationships with different goals, and i wouldn't change anything.

good luck! (spray on a couple pumps of perfume, but not too much... he'll remember it and think of u if he ever smells it when ur not around!)

You will feel a lot of different emotions, nervous, happy, anxious, silly, and in like with this person.
It may be a great date, or it may be terrible.
Make sure to look your very best, don't be lazy!
Offer to split the bill (even though boys should pay).
At the end of the date if you feel comfortable, kiss him. NO longer than 3 seconds.
If he waits longer than 2 days to call, he doesn't really like you.
DON'T CALL HIM.

Guys will tell you anything to get you to sleep with them--even that they love you!

Use good table manners. Study up on his interest, so that you will be able to keep the conversation going. There is nothing worse than dead silence on a date unless you are in a situation where you are required to be silent.

know??? i dont understand. how do you have a bf and not have dated?
talk about the things you usually talk about ...your day...your family...your work...etc.

wherever you decide to go together it would seem you already know each other, so what is there to know about dating one another?

go out and talk and skate or eat or walk or watch a movie and enjoy time together
