the mayor of LA (Antonio Villaraigosa) recently signed papers to divorce his wife, the mother of his children. He asked that the media respect his privacy in dealing with his family issues at these times. But i say BS! He shoved all this "being a family man" and had his family tag alongside him while running for office in order to get votes, now they are in the spotlight, its all fair game.
Now i heard on a local LA radio station that the reason for the divorce is an affair with a spanish news tv reporter, i had to dig deep on the Net to confirm this. according to sources this spanish news reporter may also be pregnant with his baby.
My question is...
why isnt the media all over this?? This should be juicier than Paris Hilton stories. Not only that, they (the media) should all know the mistress as she is one of them.

It's a personal matter and, if the media does really ignore it, shows a lot of class and professionalism in a profession that rarely cares about such trivialities.

The media outlets in L.A. are all liberal...so is the Mayor..so the media will not report it..but they're okay with a cover-up.
The story will come out soon though..that the mayor had a vasectomy following the birth of his youngest in 1994..maybe he won't be a baby-daddy again?!
Here's a tasty morsel for ya: The "wife" is still in the Mayor's Mansion w/the kids, and he's moved out. As long as he's Mayor...she's got a place to live. Nice

First of all he needs to stop the "Viva Mejico La Raza" bullshit. Not just Mexicans live in Los Angeles. Bastard is the mayor of Los Angeles for crying out loud. Not Mexico City. I HOPE there's media pressure and it makes him crack like the spineless turd he is.. The media isn't covering it much right now cause they don't have many details.. Just wait till the reporter he knocked up is made public (oops).

Do you have a link about the reporter being pregnant? If it is true, it's being ignored because of the immigration bill that's in the US Senate. If Mayor Villaraigosa supports the bill and the pregnancy is true, it would bury all hope that the bill gets passed in the Senate. Most of the media is liberal and probably supports this bill.

They are scared to death that they be wrong. The answer is supposed to come out in the open tomorrow. The guy is a pure hypocrite and dares to aspire to become governor. What an ego. He'd go to the governors mansion alone and that would be just fine with him I suspect. He is mentally unstable.

The collective news media picks and chooses what to report and what not to report. They have ruled this story out and they are not going to tell you why.
