Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country & in a way the entire planet earth.
I have been censored so much that I am beginning to feel that if I were to stop dissenting I might be putting someone out of work.

Do you know what it is like to ask questions and how frustrating it can be when you spend hours answering questions only to find when you go to post your answer either the question was removed or your answer contained one to many pieces that makes the puzzel a little clearer to someone else ?
I consider my rights to Free Speech a God given rights. If he didn't want me to talk he would have not made me able to. If he didn't want me to be able to add 2 + 2 and get 4, God wouldn't have given me a brain to do it.
During my 60+ years of life I have found that God gave me a little bit more than he gave others in some respects and God gave others a little bit more of other things.
When I joined the Boy Scouts of America, I took an oath that starts. "On my honor, I will do my best, to do my Duty, to God and my Country..."
I took that oath seriously and still do. Unlike the disrespetful members of Congress and the Bush Administration, I believe that when I say I will try to do something I mean it. The oaths that they and every member of the military take includes words to the effect "to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States from all enemies, foreign and domestic."
They are letting and in some cases are helping the domestic enemy that is battering our Constitution and tearing this country apart.
I would like to point out that the Scout Oath does not say that you will do your duty to God and your Country. It says that you PROMISE TO DO YOUR BEST. Nobody can ask more from you than to do your best. Always do your best, no matter what, it is at least it will be your best. God doesn't expect more from you than your best.
So here I sit doing my best to get the world to understand that what is going on is so wrong that God doesn't approve. They may be making my life uncomfortable but I won't stop doing my best trying to fix what is wrong.
I don't have much respect for the military officers that are not living up to the oaths that they took nor any of the otheers that are continuing to let this country be run by a sick maniac, who probably doesn't even understand what the words mean.
I hope this gets through the censors.

Throughout American history the push and pull between conservative political correctness and liberal absolutist free speech has existed. Weather is was Nixon's moral majority, or the counter culture that so strongly opposed it we have always had those for censored speech and those for absolute free speech. However, I believe the time has come for a more centrist attitude. Gone are the days when it was acceptable to use derogatory terms based on someones race and good riddance to that, but at the same time we must never forget that we as Americans still have a voice. When corrupt politics hurt innocents it is our American duty to speak up and stop it. Even when people use their right to free speech to protect their bigotry we must remember that we still have the right of free speech to call them out on it. We need a balance to this right and how we use it. Two examples of how I would use this balance today: people should stop calling everything they don't understand or dislike "gay", and people should speak up about oppressive situations like Darfur or the Patriot Act.

Well until someone changes the Amendments and the freedom of speech has been repealed I am always going to say what I have to say and say what I feel.
I know what your referring to the laws that the U.S.Supreme Court, decided on the other day
As far as I'm concern if you have something to say than say it or forever hold your peace and now a days were does that get you so you might as well speak out and be heard, and since speaking my mind has always been a part of my personality why should I stop now.

When the little Dixie Chick singer voiced her opinion onstage in England, her tapes were smashed, radio stations were threatened with boycotts if they played her music, and she was literally shunned by those who had formerly adored her.
Fortunately, just a few years later, she and her group returned and their music is again successful.
This is the Republican idea of "Freedom of Speech."
When Cindy Sheehan founded her "Camp Casey" in Crawford, Texas, asking for an audience with President Bush, the Conservative crowd drove by in pick-up trucks, shouting obscenities. Another example of freedom from the right.
For a while there, it seemed that the only one in America with true Freedom of Speech was Karl Rove, who could create nasty little phrases and derogatory insults whenever it suited him.
When the American public finally realized what was going on, we had the election of 2006, which sent some of these belligerent souls home.
Now, in 2008, it's time to rid ourselves of the rest of them. Then our Freedoms will return to normal.

Freedom of speech is`nt like it used to be it all depends on what your beliefs are if your a muslim or black ,gay or lib then you get a little more freedom of speech in the usa but if your a christian then your freedom of speech only goes so far because the crazy left and ACLU go after you to try and shut you down from trying to teach a healthy lifestyle.
Each year the crazy left tries to take more and more away from christians ,they try and take away saying merry xmas, the crazy left and ACLU try with all they can to give the boyscouts a hard time for teaching healthy lifestyle but protect NAMBLA .

There is still freedom of speech, but it's a two way street. Others are free to say that they think what you said is stupid, or if you're costing your employers money, they're free to fire you.
Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequence.

Freedom of speech will only truly be gone if we give it up. Don't give it up, don't shut up, and keep on saying what you think needs to be said.

Political correctness is the crime. You hear 10 times more crap from the media about some little comment than you hear about money in the freezer.
It is sickening that the media slander has people checking their words with lawyers and publicity specialists and this is more important than bribes and extortion.

No. It feels like a right granted us as citizens of the USA, Many people fought for this and if it comes down to it you may need to fight also. But really is it worth living if you don't have your freedom. Give us liberty or give us death.
