I rank up some heavy poke-bucks by going through the elite four over and over again. I take an Amulet Coin along to double my winnings and I use the time there to level up weeker pokemon with an Experience Share. I've maxed out the money counter several times doing this and I've got about fifteen 100 level pokemon so far.
