can't get any worse

Of course they will. Having Lamont Jordan along with Dominic Rhodes and Michael Bush is going to make a huge backfield. JaMarcus wasnt the #1 pick just for kicks, I mean this guy is good. Mike Williams is actually a good receiver, its just that the Lions are obsessed with them and had too many #1 receivers. The defense is set! The Raiders are sorta like the Steelers were when they drafted Big Ben, they had almost every position covered except QB, and well the Raiders line has some holes. I belive the new Head Coach will fix it and Russell will solve the QB issues. Michael Bush would have won the Heisman Trophy if he hadnt had his leg broke TRUST ME! I grew up watching this guy, he played QB all thru high school and had to switch to RB when his cross town rival from Trinity High School Brian Brohm committed. Brohms just that good. Bush had 3 first half touchdowns in the first game of the season. Hes big, hes fast and hes stout, and he will become the starter I guarantee it. Now all they have to do is get Russell some snaps and experience and get the line fixed and their set for good seasons.

Yes, they have a top 5 defense coming back with all 11 starters and improved there depth on that side of the ball too ( Moses was a steal and will be a beast opposite of Derrick Burgess who has more sacks then anyone else the past two seasons), They fixed there offensive line pretty dramatically by changing the whole scheme and puttin one in the acually utilizes the talent we have up there, they are very young up front on the o-line and will improve, we got a great Qb now in J-marc but he wont be ready for a year or two but McCown is more then capable of running the offense, He did win the QB challenge last month, Mike williams will be back to his form from USC and be a big red zone target, they got Zach Miller from ASU who was the BEST TE in the draft (olsen is a one trick pony) and they sured up there backfield with Bush in the 4th (steal of the draft), they have Darnel lBing coming back from injury and ready to lay some lumber in the backfield with Huff. They will be alot better this year and probably finish around 7-9 to 9-7 but will miss the playoffs, has far has the cancelled pratices it was the NFLPA that stepped in and shut it down, the players were not complaining and Lane Kffin is not losing respect he is only gaining it, there have been numerous articles on the fact of how well Kiffin is doing with this team and the positive response by the players, they will be better and soon they will be back to the glory days and you guys can continue hating on us because thats what we thrive off of, we want you to hate us becuase in the bottom of your hearts you know THAT YOU FEAR US!!!!!!

man too many raider haters for me here all good though im glad yall got nathan better to do than comment on our team. I think we got the biggest sleeper in the draft in RB Michael Bush who once fully healed will be a great back and be a starter for sure. Russell I saw him at practice and was awesome at QB, we wont play him and ruin his confidence till we get our questionable O-line fixed. our defense is badas s mane as for the players complaining about practice to the association I was under the impression that the association itself were the ones that got involved on their own but either way who cares? if you dont want to practice or try hard then why even have practice? only way youll get better imo and experience. bottomline as much as I would like to think we could be a sleeper maybe next year this year we will def turn some heads we should atleast get 6 wins this year huge improvment! Commitment to Excellence

they should, but its hard to say. lane kiffin is already screwing up and the season hasnt even started. he is working his players too hard which is why the NFL cut the raiders practice a week short. in order for that to happen, the players must have complained the the players association. this is not a good sign for kiffin. he is losing respect already. but the raiders do have a good D and their OLine needs work and they didnt really help themselves in the draft either.

They're defense was pretty solid last year, and should be just as good this year, their offense is questionable. What's Lane Kiffin gunna do.....? Their offensive line needs work, need to get the running game better. And when is Jamarcus gunna play and how will he do? Lots of questions, but could be good answers. I still think they'll finish 3rd or probably 4th in their division. Need another year or 2.

How can you not get better with a record of 2 and 14. They did pick up some players that will make them better but not in the real near future.

I believe The Raiders is going to be o.k.
I think their defense is going to be solid. And their offense is going to be alright. I wouldn't be surprised if they are a sleeper this year. And threaten to be a wild card contender. Even though they are my rival.
They might up being the next Raven's soon.
Good defense. O.K. offense.

There used to be a professional football team with that name. Do you know what happened to them. I had season tickets from 68 to 72.
If I see Jim Otto at Safeway again I'll ask him.

they will improve simply because 3 wins will be an improvement...no honestly they will probably win 4 to 6 games based solely on schedule and strength of defense...their offensive line is another matter altogether, they wont start the expensive rookie early because they dont need to destroy his psyche and confidence since he is slated to be the franchise savior at qb...yes they will improve but probably only marginally
