Of course she does. She was a very unstable girl. Me and her parents were the only people she was really comfortable around. One day she lost control and killed herself. I'll never forgive myself for not being there for her. I'm engaged today but I still think about and miss her every day.

lynn c. and E. bunny - your answers made me sad. I am sorry for your loss.
Yes, he will always be in my heart. He was my best friend and I still think about what it would be like if I had been the one he married. I think we were together too young. He was 15 and I was 16, although we dated for almost 4 years. He needed to grow up and see what else was out there, which I understand now. It is still hard for me but I think it could have worked if we had met each other several years later than we did.

that is weird and wonderful, because of the fact human beings continually say that first loves will or are meant to hold a particular place on your coronary heart. For me, that isn't the case. i think of it has extra to do with what you experience that person did for you--what they gave you emotionally/spiritually, how they replaced you, what they taught you, etc. human beings assume you get lots out of your previous love. the guy I have been given the main from became somebody i became with quickly in 2003, once I graduated from college (previous love became in intense college). i does not be the place i'm immediately (not even bodily) had I not met that person, and it is the reason i'm going to continually undergo in concepts.

I do think of him from time to time, even though nearly 20 years has past. He was instrumental in shaping the person I've become today.
