I took strike anywhere matches and I used a febreeze spray to make a flame thrower but the gas doesn't reach the matches and the spray liquid douses the flames. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

All I asked for was help. I know what I am doing is wrong but live a little! I am not doing it at anyone, near anything flammable (besides the spray itself) and I have a water supply right next to me. The bottle can't explode because I am doing short bursts. Help please.

The only thing you did wrong is try to that in the first place.

You know it's wrong and your gonna do it anyways, well that's human nature for you.

The propellant in the febreeze can may not be combustible.
They do use noncombustible propellants in some aerosol cans.

Very dangerous. In WWII, despite having a well designed flame-thrower, the average lifetime of the operator could be measured in minutes. Burning to death is a very painful experience. Worse is living and being in severe pain continuously for the rest of your life. .

You have your rational head screwed on backwards. Don't you have better things to do with your resources and time?
