Answers Spell Check gave me the word Knifing for Nifong. Thanks Yahoo for the description of how Democrat Prosecutor - Wait - I mean Democrat Persecutor treated those young White Gentlemen. Nifong was ordered to be Fired immediately from his pulpit as Persecutor. The Families of the slain white victims already have millions in damages against this John Edwards style of Race Baiter. Along with losing his job and being sued; Nifong needs to check-in at the local cross bar hotel. I hear that they do offer Color - TV and dial out phones.

Jail time is a must. Disbarred isn't a big penalty, Clinton was disbarred and got his license back a few years later.

He should get more than a lying President I think.

Players sued the University, I think the University should sue the DA Office/County for their losses.

Jail time does seem excessive. He has been disbarred, which is a huge penalty - for an attorney, this means he has been kicked out of his profession and must find an entirely new career. He is also likely to get his in the upcoming civil suits.

The whole incident has pretty much destroyed his reputation - which is well deserved - and devastated his life. That seems sufficient punishment. Certainly it's sufficient to have a strong deterrent effect on other prosecutors who are tempted to engage in similar misconduct. Since I think deterrence and public safety are the primary legitimate grounds for imprisonment and neither applies here, I'd oppose it.

He should go to jail for making a mockery of the justice system and thirty years for wrecking the lives of three innocent young men. Furthermore that bottomfeeding liar girl should be thrown into the deepest darkest prision cell they can find. This is a prime example on what our country would be like under total democratic rule.

Mike Nifong had to win or his rival who he had fired from working for him years ago would have won the election and he would have been out of a job.
He did all of that to those students at Duke University to win the black votes which would save his own hide and secure his political career.
And it worked, they appearantly liked the idea so much of destroying whitey that he got 97% of the black votes which is what got him re-elected.
He should be sued and serve time in prison for what he put those kids through along with the self proclaimed 'Reverend' Al Sharpton and the loud mouthed Jesse Jackson who teamed up with him to burn those guys alive.
Did you know that Al Sharpton doesn't have any credentials what so ever making him a man of the cloth?
He doesn't,he's a fake and a phoney and only spreads hate and ignorance where ever he goes to anyone who will listen to him.
All three of them can rot for all I care and society would benefit from their absence if all three had to serve time for what they did.

Yes, dial out phones but collect calls only. I think that he should receive at least the same punishment that he would have recommended for the innocent lacrosse players.

And what was that, jail time?

Yep, jail time.

Yes, and his cell mates should be the administrators and professors of the college responsible for libel and defamation.
What a total bunch of jerks - they all bloodied their shins trying to jump on this band wagon.

I will say to you what I say to Democrats wanting George Bush to be impeached or do jail time, please tell me what criminal statute, and be specific with section and code number, he is supposed to have violated.

Nifong grossly and inappropriately overreached violating his ethical duty under the rules governing the conduct of attorneys. The penalty for those violations is loss of his license to practice law and loss of his office. Not knowing North Carolina law, I do not know if that also costs him his pension.

He is also subject to being sued.

None of these equals a violation of criminal law.

He should do jail time and they should throw the black chick in the cell across the way for lying about it. Better yet throw her in with some angry bulldikes and send him to the penn.
