1 ounce is 28.35 grams (I don't know why there's a difference, that's for another question).

The current price of gold on the Spot Market is $655.80 per Troy ounce. Set your scale to read OZ t and place your gold on it. If you have enough to register, the scale will display the amount. If you use a container, don't forget to weigh the empty container and subtract that weight. If you don't have enough to get the scale to turn on, you likely don't have enough to interest any buyer.

Now, for the down-side. You aren't going to get an appreciable amount of pure gold from a PC, and in small quantities, you will be fortunate indeed if someone offers you 1/3 the Spot Market value, even if you can prove it is 99.99% pure.

If it's pure gold, the current price is about US$655 for a single ounce.

Try the new york stock exchange to find out how much gold is worth today and then find out how much you have and then multiply quantity by price and there you go.
