He will be offered it but I bet he wants a ring so he will wait and go to the yankees.

Joe Girardi has shown a knack for getting the most out of a ball club. The Florida Marlins showed last year that he can get a team to overachieve. If offered he job as Orioles manager, I think he'll take it for the rest of the season to show his managing talents. He would really be in a situation where he has nothing to lose.

Girardi did a astonishing pastime with Florida. the in elementary words reason he were given fired became because he stood as a lot as a meglomaniac proprietor who if he had 0.5 a mind, he would have kept his mouth close. Girardi is interior the printed revenues area with the convinced community. i imagine he will stay there for a three hundred and sixty 5 days and then at the same time as Torre retires he will pass all the way down to the dugout as Mattingly's bench coach with a promise from the Boss if Mattingly fails he receives the Yankees' pastime.

You anwsered the question already. Im sure he is waiting for Joe Torre to be fired and be the next Yankees manger. Yankees need a change in leadership and Girardi is the right guy.

Interesting idea. I havent thought about it, but that might happen. But I think Joe likes the YES gig, and somewhere in the back of his mind I think he has a shot at managing the Yankees. No matter though. He will be a great manager when all is said and done.

He'll be offered it and he'll probably take it. The Yankees job is not gonna be open (Old George is crazy, but he's not crazy enough to fire the best manager in baesball). I think he can turn around the Orioles and at least keep them out of last place in the AL East.

He will get the offer from baltimore but if I was him I would run the other way and never look back because the Orioles are really bad and don't look like they will get any better.

I think realistically you won't see any come in to take over the team until next year. It's not like a new manager is going to walk in and turn the team around over night.
It's just easier for management to fire Sam Perlozzo and blame him for all the teams problems. From hear on out they will limp to the end of the season with what they got and then get ready to regroup and hire new manager for next year.

He won't be offered it, but they will talk to him about any interest he has in it, he won't have any interest.
He also won't be the next Yankees manager in all probability, George Steinbrenner wants Don Mattingly, and Girardi would rather be the cubs manager (his dream position)

joe girardi looks like the right guy to step in and take control of such a talented team
THey've got so much potential its ridiculous that they're playing so badly starting with miguel tejada and his attitude
Girardi would be the perfect candidate with his no nonsense attitude and he pushes players to their limits to lay it all out on the field for them
Remember he was the manager of the year last year...he was fired because of some disagreement wit his stupid bosses.
I think he's a terriffic field manager
