I was laid off a two months ago and I need 300 to avoid eviction. I have a 500 credit score. No family, friends who are in the same boat as me. How can I get 300 fast. I don't know any loan sharks.

Please dont BS on this one. I had a great career in Adveritsing until I got laid off. I started working last week but the check isnt wont be in the mail for another week or two.

Ask your employer for a cash advance on your first check. This was common years ago and going to the person who hired you explaining you were out of work so waiting for your first check is causing a problem might get you an advance. We loan little bits out of petty cash and have them sign a form so we can deduct it from the first paycheck. Don't do it twice but once isn't that unusual. Most bosses were young once and know how hard even two months of unemployment can be for young employees.

Explain to your landlord the situation--and let him/her know when you will be paid.

If you have an XBox 360, you can get more than $300 for it
You could have a yard sale
You could pawn jewelry, guns, TVs, stereos, etc.
You could take an auto title loan
How about a payday loan?

Go to one of those check advance places. Or those pay day advance places. They'll keep your check on hold until you get paid. The interest is deathly but it will get you out of a bind for the next few weeks.

All else fails....credit card cash advance....or you may have to overdraw your account and reimburse it when you get paid
