I feel that a moment differs from person to person and event to event. A moment means just a very short amount a time and if you ask the person the moment wasn't long enough. Usually someone will use the word moment when they wish something would of lasted longer. A moment is usually something that has happened and briefly. I find it to be true that when the happiest times happen in my life I usually say they only happened for a moment. I treasure that moment always in my heart but I always wish that moment would happen again or would of been alittle longer. A moment of time is only measured by the person or persons that are there. No matter how long a moment is we always look forward to more moments. Thanks!

Well, some people think of it in different ways. Like someone might say "be there in a moment" and really It might take 10 or 20 more seconds. Some people also think of it a little before a second, or a little after a second. But moments could be long too. Like, "his big moment came during the last game of playoffs." There really is no actually time. Its like "the moment he arrived t the party" its very little, but not a precise time.

A ‘moment’ was an actual unit of time in medieval times. The movement of a shadow on a sundial covered 40 moments in a solar hour. So a moment is about 1.5 minutes.

A brief indefinite period of time,it is discretionary but I think of a moment as anything from 0-5 minutes.

If you're waiting for your girl, it could seem like a lifetime; if you need to answer the call of nature, you could be faster than Superman!! Take a moment to reflect - it only takes a couple of minutes!
