The aisles are a mess, they sell low quality merchandise, the cashiers act like they are doing you a special favour by ringing you up, you can't ever find someone in the paint dept, finding a parking space is very hard, and they always want to see the receipt on the way out the door like you were a criminal or something. I hate wally world, If they hadn't put all their competition out of business, I would shop somewhere else.

Walmart is #1 on my list of places that I hate the most.
It's even worse than the DMV department.
Hardly anyone speaks english and the isles are always blocked with merchandise so only one shopping cart at a time can get through and no one is ever around to help.
Everything is made in China by slave labor and falls apart almost as soon as you get home and there's way too many people that shop there who are just as rude as the employees.
And I hate, like you having to show my receipt at the door and have them look at my things before I can leave and where I live everything is said over the loud speaker in spanish and the commericials on the TV's they have hanging from the ceiling are all in spanish.
When I worked there a long time ago they made me slow down at the register because they want every item to be seen by the camera and they want to make sure the employees aren't stealing.
So I had to work very slow like they all do and I was harrassed like you would not believe by the management and was forced to work without taking any breaks.
And they always have Mc Donalds as a place for people to dine in which is probably the grossest stuff you can put into your mouth.
Oh and it's really really bright inside the store so I have to wear sunglasses just to shop there.
Overall I think shopping at Walmart is hell and I haven't been there in over a year because eventhough they have better prices the whole experience just isn't worth it.
Walmart has become too much like a flea market to me with all of it's crowds and gaudy products and clueless employees.
I hate it more than you do and now shop at Target instead which is way better than it's competitor.
I just wanted to add that the straw that broke the camels back for me shopping at Walmart happened one day when I attempted to purchase an undergarment.
It was in a box and I wanted to try it on and the lady at the dressing room made me take it out of the box in front of everybody where she checked the box then let me go try it on.
When I left I put it in my shopping cart and the lady found me later on in the store to tell me I had to put it back into the box for it to be priced.
I asked her, "Well then why the hell did you make me take it out and leave the box with you if I have to have it to be priced?"
She said something in broken english then looked at me as if I were stupid and laughed and walked away then she met up with another employee and while looking at me she started talking about me in their languange and laughing.
I haven't gone back since and I don't ever intend to.

The one near me never has anything I want. It is also fairly new yet filthy. Alot of the workers barely speak English. And it smells like a fart in the parking lot (really you have to run from the car to the store to avoid barfing). Thats why I'm glad there is a Target up the street from the Wal-mart.

Sam Walton must be rolling over in his grave. Since his passing Wal-Mart has become the very antithesis of his original business model. I can't begin to express my outright anger over what Wal-Mart has become without racking up some hefty Y!A TOS violations.

The Wal-Mart that is in my area is very messy too lol. But you can't really blame the store the customers should be more courteous and pick up and put back what they drop. I usually go to the one the next town over. It's alot cleaner.

I recently read a story about a cashier at Wal Mart who got caught using stolen credit cards. The way they solved the case was the cashier was using her employee discount with the stolen credit cards. TRUE STORY.

HEY! Those Chinese toddlers are doing the best they can to make that stuff for you. Give them a break! How good were you at making clothing when you were 3 1/2 years old!?

I do my best never to shop there. I'd rather pay 20-30% more somewhere else...
Globalizing sons-of-B.... They ARE a large part of the reason for why other countries hate our business practices and us by extension. I will not coddle them simply because they are american. They need the shape up and ship out.

well, kiki, they are building one down in el mirage, that should get rid of some of the problems out in surprise. hell, you can't swing a dead cat in the surprise walmart parking lot without hitting an illegal alien. when i go to that store, i actually roll up my windows and lock the doors when i go inside. another part of the problem in surprise walmart is that since it is such an upscale area, nobody that works 32 hours a week without any benefits actually lives in your neighborhood. see you around.
