The answer is x = -6.

If you plot out the two points and draw a line through them, the line will be 6 spaces to the LEFT of the vertical y-axis. It's the opposites for both, so since the x-axis is horizontal it will take the place of the vertical line. The y, being vertical, takes its place with the horizontal. Yeah, confusing.
