Always...the lies are in the eyes.

It takes a keen perception but, having managed many employees in the manufacturing business over the years, I soon learned when talking with someone when that person was being less than forthright and honest with me.

Yes, there are other telltale clues also, the posture someone takes while sitting in the office chair, the way the person nervously "fidgits"...but always, there is a certain look that someone has when lying, not just the look away or inability to look me straight in the eye, but even deeper than that...inside the eyes...something that can't be hidden or disguised is a dead giveaway.

Yes, it's very easy. When they lean away from you, they put a barrier between you and them, they get defensive or try to turn the tables, can't keep their facts straight, or there is no 'down side' to their story (everything went swimmingly), etc.

Check out a book called "Never be Lied to Again; how to get the truth from any conversation..." by David Lieberman -- a former Detective / Interrogator. It's a quick and interesting read, and after reading it, you can literally tell if a person is a liar within seconds... even if you can't hear what they're saying.

I know when someone is telling a weak lie but a strong lie I have no way to know maybe I thought it was the truth. I may never know

Not always but usually. The trouble with lies, is people want to believe them. Like a car you want to buy won't give you any trouble, or someone you care about isn't a fuckup. The solution? Never trust anybody. This only works if you have arranged your life so that you don't NEED to trust anybody.

Of course, this can sometimes be lonely. So it's your call.

Yes, if your face to face they always look to the right or left when telling the lie. Or if its over the phone they talk really fast and sometimes stutter. Its a dead give away!

It depends on who the person is. Most of the time, I can tell.

If I know the person pretty well, I can almost always tell. Weird gift, lol.
