Hopefully never. It is an American tradition. Without the penny things would be rounded up and over a year that accumulates to a great deal of money for some people.
Besides what would you put in your penny Loafers? A nickel? LOL

I hope its real soon they take up space.they have almost no value these days so I dont keep them.I say take them and make something artistic instead.the man lincoln already has a place on the five so he wont mind.
