on the show they sent Chrissy home, I believe and then cousin Cindy came ... the chemistry wasn't there and though she stayed on the show, she didn't live at the apartment... then Terry came aboard. In real life.. Suzanne Sommers and producers had a contract dispute... the co-stars didn't hate her, but were frustrated at the lack of direction at that point.... the contract dispute put the story line on hold so they could determine what they were going to do with the Chrissy character.

Chrissy was written out of the show that she went back to live with her parents when Suzanne Summers and the show couldn't come to a paycheck agreement. Terri moved in when Cindy went off to college and they needed a third roommate

Chrissy (Suzanne Somers) left because she thought she wasn't getting the salary that she deserved. she wanted a 500% and more because she though she was the star. She only cared about herself and what she wanted. She didn't care or realize that having a career you love and the goodness of working with people she loved with a perfect show can be what she needed, instead she only wanted more money and fame. Its sad to hear this cause you would never think someone who looked innocent and so nice can be this way.

Suzan Sommers obsolutely killed her career when she left three's company. Her then boyfriend told her to ask for a huge raise. She listened to him and got into a feud with the management.

as the first poster said, sommers had the idea she was the star and deserved way more money than everybody else on the show. she wouldn't show up to work, when she did show up, she would leave early with some excuse and basically held the taping of the show for ransom. the producers finally got sick of it and started writing her off the show.

Because Susan Sommers Had a dispute with ABC over pay. She thought she was the star of the show and the other actors hated her for it
