the point is your opinion in anything, even if you dont have an opinion is in the sense an opinion, meaning you dont care, but it is a point that you have the right or ability not to care. however since you asked you must have an opinion, even if its negative, one of the greatest freedoms americans have is the right to have an opinion or a point as you call it, Many places having the a contradictory opinion will get you killed. on the other hand just being able to ask the question is also a point, and being to ask it on the internet is even a better point, just think if there were no internet who would you ask,
and just having people, friend or other who you can ask is a point, that means you can talk to someone or people who might care about you or your opinion or take some time and energy to listen or even argue with you.
also its not the point its 2 points, how scoring is done in basketball, except for 3 point shots and free throws.
