First of all. Your obviously stressed over this question, is a great hint that you are overly stressed in life. STRESS can delay a period. It doesn't matter how old you are. As far as the discharge, that is your bodys way of cleaning out the system. Very common. Diet (what you eat) can affect your menstrual cycle, stress can affect the menstrual cycle. Heredity, can affect your cycle. Give your body time. You never stated, when you started your period or at what age. If it has been within the past two years, yes, give it time to regulate itself. Don't rely on herbs quite yet. I am a big believer in herbal remedies, myself. The first thing you need to do, is confide in adult in your real life, and not on the computer and explain your situation. If you feel embarrassed to do so, make an appointment with a gynecologist, so they can give you a full examination. Plan parenthood in many areas are not just for girls or women who are pregnant. I would suggest not relying on a question board for your diagnosis. Find a real life professional who can give you the comfort of knowing what you are going through is a normal process. If its not, they will run the appropriate tests to rule out anything abnormal. Keep in mind, not every womans cycle runs the same course. Some are random, some bleed all the time. Some bleed nothing at all. I feel, at your age, you have not given your body time enough to find a schedule cycle. What seems normal for one girl, does not mean you will do the same. Every girls body, is different. Give your body, time to adjust to the new experience, if you feel, after a long enough time has passed, say a year, then seek professional help.

Don't worry. Your body just may be tryng to adjust. Different women experience different types of things as far as periods. Your weight may have something to do with it. Or being closly attached to a woman. (Spending a lot of time around another woman) It could be adjusting to her. My period comes the same time every month for years but when I start hanging out with different women on a regular. My body adjusts with theirs. The discharge may be from a yeast infection. Try wearing loose fitting clothing and cotton underwear. Also Walgreens has this yeast infection medicine that is about $9.99. Its in a plastic tube and it has a plastic applicator that you can use to treat the infection from the inside. These are just my experiences. I suggest that you talk to your mom and see if she can get you an appointment with a gynocologist. Because its very possible there may be another problem.

Talk to your doctor. Going on the birth control pill can get your periods regular and might help you lose weight. I have had the same problems for years. You might have something calling polycystic ovarian syndrome, which is not serious, but it's a pain, and if you don't have your period for a long time, that can become serious (my doc told me that if you go for years without it the lining of your uterus can become cancerous). But you are only 15 so you are not in any danger in those terms. Talk to your doc, you'll probably be glad you did.

Sometimes if you are overweight your periods are irregular. You need to see your doctor to make sure that is the prob, or if there is something else.

Lose weight, hon. You need to keep that body in shape for when you do decide to get married and have kids.
Four years is way too long.
