I can't believe this, people are saying Peyton Manning who just won a superbowl and Donavan Mcnabb who was recently in two superbowls himself. Mcnabb was leading the NFL in passing last season before he got injured. Ben Rothesburger is extremely overrated and he showed it last year with a sub par performance. He was the QB for the steelers when they won the superbowl but did absolutely nothing for his team....Unlike the previously mentioned QB's who are the stars of their respective team

Ya Vick Didn't get his team to an NFC championship or anything. The eagles haven't won their division at least 6 times since 2000, Oddly enough the Year after McNabb was drafted. Payton Manning is resetting every record that a passer can set. And T.O. hasn't compiled nearly 12k recieving yards and 114 touchdowns, averaging 1k yards and more than 10 TDs a season. And Tom freakin Brady is Tom Freakin Brady.
You people are idiots. You probably couldn't even name 5 actual busts in recent years. Overrated is a guard that gets payed too much in Free Agency, Over-Rated is a first round pick for a receiver that doesn't crack the top 50 receiving ever. Overated is a franchise that is predicted to go 10-6 and goes 3-13.

Micheal Vick is the most over rated player in the NFL... He hasnt made his team any better since he got there and hasnt really stepped into the leader position that you must take when you are the QB.....I mean anyone who would say Peyton Manning is overrated must be a dumb@** because he broke almost all of Dan Mario's records and i guess he was over rated too? Not to mention he usually is the top QB in the NFL every year because of his accuracy and yards per game...

Definitely not TO. If it wasn't for his injury last year, he would have caught 20-25 TDs. He is impossible to tackle and the only way to keep him out of the end zone when he touches the ball is to get him out of bounds. He's made the most out of his limited talent and become one of the greatest receivers in history. Yes, he may disrupt teams and irritate the media, but almost everybody who is great does that (Babe Ruth, Rogers Hornsby, Ted Williams, Lawrence Taylor, Charles Barkley, Barry Bonds etc.). I'm sure alot of Eagle fans would have rather that they kept TO instead of McNabb as McNabb's career is currently in jeopardy as it appears he's going to pull a Culpepper and rush himself back to the field. Besides that, TO was truly the MVP of that Super Bowl, even though he was on the losing team.
I might have said Michael Vick in the past, but most people have already caught onto the fact that he isn't a great QB and maybe not even a good QB. At the moment, I think the most overrated is Shaun Alexander. Alexander used to be great, but he isn't anymore. He had a 4.0 or better yards per carry in only 3 games last year and none of them were before the foot injury, which takes that excuse away. Alexander's reputation as an elite RB endures, just like Jamal Lewis and Marshall Faulk's reputations endured far too long.

Peyton Manning??!! Tom Brady??!! You folks are nuts. We're talking a about Dan Marino (Manning) who has won a championship and a Joe Montana (Brady) with three. Micheal Vick wins this argument hands down. The kid can't throw it, can't wait in the pocket for more than three seconds and he's never won. The only team he's ever been on was the team that beat GB in Lambeau in the playoffs, and that wasn't exactly carried by his arm or wits. He was a star in college, then played a real team in the Championship game and FSU shut him out. He's realized he can't play and is relying on dogs to fight for him because he doesn't know how to. A huge waste of talent- good luck Bobby Petrino.

Um...TO? Are you serious? Look how many TDs he had last year. Sure he's super annoying and a jerk, but the guy isn't overrated, he's a great wide receiver.
Most overrated would have to be Mike Vick. With a contract that big and constant failures, lack of a passing attack, way too many mistakes...he takes this award with ease and flare.

It has to be Mick Vick. The guy hasn't done nothing except rush for a 1000 yd's as a QB ( last time I heard that was a runningbacks job, plus L.T. has more PASSING YARDS and RUSHING YARDS THAN VICK DOES) and has killed pit bulls. I hope he gets suspended for his career, for his bad play and for his legal problems
