In Texas, is it illegal to leave an elderly person who is losing his memory home alone? Please help. Thanks.

I want to know if there is any laws in Texas mention about the above issue. Thank you very much.

I don't think it's "illegal" however it's not the safest thing to do.. Check with you county board of health and see if they have any assistance programs offered by the gov't to help yo take care of your elderly person... Some programs are gov't assisted while others may be out of pocket expenses.. Either case it's best to check with your Office on Aging beareu(sp)...
