Can a person get a daycare licence in Michigan if they have had a felony in the past?

Can a person get a daycare licence in Michigan if they have had a felony in the past?

The felony was over 10 years ago, and did not involve any type of violent crime and had nothing to do with children. Will that still prevent the person from being able to obtain a daycare licence?

I hope so. Not necessarily for you, but I think it's a good blanket rule, to keep others with violent crimes out. Sorry.
