Clinton didn't stand up to the terrorists and we got 9/11. He had a great approval rating among Democrats. Bush stood up to these terrorists after 9/11 and Democrats hate him. Why is that?

Put your gung-ho-America attitude to rest. It's a poor representative for intelligent Republicans.

First of all, 9/11 happened under Bush, unless you forgot. There were several major terrorist plots foiled when Clinton was around...do you remember the year 2000 plot when they attempted to come in from Canada? Oh yeah, the Bush Administration failed to stop ANY before and including 9/11.

I hate Bush not for standing up to terrorists, but his methods. There is no set number of terrorists roaming the earth...it is an ideology of hatred towards the US that must be crushed. Invading countries that have nothing to do with terrorism and creating a terrorism problem where none formerly existed (the hijackers weren't from Iraq, last time I checked) is just a retarted way to fight terrorism. To sum it up, work smarter, not harder.

Of course, you have no logical response to this. You will just brush it away and pretend that everytime we invade a random muslim country without a good reason, it will reduce terrorism. You guys just don't "get it", and hopefully one day you will.

Your question contains false and misleading information.

1) It assumes that George Bush is willing to fight for America. One could argue that he is more interested in fighting for himself and the legacy he will leave for himself before his term expires. He has had a single purpose while President: pleasing his Mom and Dad. Google has him linked to failure.

2) It assumes that Clinton didn't stand up to the terrorists. He actually did, and supported several military actions against specific targets during his tenure in office.

3) It assumes that Clinton was negligent, leading to 9 / 11. New evidence reveals that the Bush administration dropped the ball when the 9 / 11 attackers trained to become pilots. Whistle blowers at the FBI actually pointed that out but were ignored. The Pentagon had an incentive to do nothing, since a war puts money into the pockets of war profiteers and contractors, like Haliburton.

4) Bush did not stand up to the attackers after 9 / 11. In fact, by misleading the American public and our military into Iraq, he enabled Osama Bin Laden and his assistants to escape. Osama is still thumbing his nose at us today. The attackers on 9 / 11 were from Saudi Arabia, by the way. No one involved in 9 / 11 had any connection to Iraq.

5) Many Democrats not only hate Bush, but despise him, because he was and is dishonest. He has systematically allowed others in his administration to perform his dirty work, while he hides behind executive privilege.

6) By the way, Bush's support among Republicans is at its lowest point since he became President. You are out on a limb, and the next wind storm will blow you out of the tree.

Settle.

1. Clinton also stood up. But he didn't publicize it to the press for he felt that some things weren't necessarily better off known.

2. Bush didn't "stand up" to anyone - he attacked a country that had nothing to do with 9/11 for a personal vendetta. Brave? Sounds more like a coward to me.

3. Fight for America? He is fighting for himself. He never has had the interests of this country or its citizens at heart. If he did, then he would have listened to the advisers that told him NOT to go into Iraq, and he would be listening to everyone that wants our soldiers OUT of Iraq. Neither happened. So much for loving this nation. He loves his "legacy". He is an errogant man.

So, I don't know why others "dislike" Bush, but I do because:
- He's a liar
- He is a self centered man
- He is a glory hound
- He is a war monger
- He is a hypocrit
- He is a horrible leader
- He is superficial
- He is rather unintelligent in his manner - not "every man", like he thinks he is doing.

The man is the leader of the most powerful nation in the free world, for the love of God.

I don't think Democrats believe that Bush IS fighting for America. He insisted on blaming Saddam Hussein for the 9/11 attacks, even though he knew there was no connection. After 6 years of trying, he's no closer to catching Osama Bin Laden, and doesn't appear to be making much effort. He has consistently lied to the American people. He seems to have no plan for ever ending the war in Iraq. How this is all in the interests of America is a mystery to most people, Democrat, Republican or other.

Think that about sums it up. Bush has refused to toe the politically correct line in the sand. He has stood for what was right regardless of what polls might say,but Libs believe in deciding based on polls, because they have no firm principles or steady moral compass. That said Bush has made a plethora of mistakes, and if that were the extent of their criticism I would be with the Libs speaking out against him,but all the Bush lied, blah blah blah, that garbage I can't stand.

Most Americans oppose Bush and his policies because Bush and his policies are hurting America. For one thing, Bush stupidly attacked Iraq and let the real terrorists like bin Laden get away. All good Americans should oppose Bush.

If you call fighting for America forcing a foreign way of life on another country, crippling and maiming hundreds of thousands of innocent people and soldiers without a care for
any of them, and costing tax payers 2 trillion dollars a week for doing it.

Why is it that everyone keeps forgetting it was BinLaDin who blew up the twin towers, and took over the planes. He was not in Iraq, he never was. Although his family was at the Bush ranch when the towers were blown up and Bush stopped all flights in the entire USA except for the BinLaDins who were allowed to leave without question.

Bush had no reason to go after Suddam or Iraq. Although he stole the election twice, he was not ever elected to any office especially President of the world. He thinks he is in control of everything and everyone. He has made more enemies for us than any other president in history, and he is the dumbest president we ever had.

Clintons IQ is 3 times higher than George Bush and he knew we didn't have any reason to attack Iraq. Not sorry to burst your bubble. Where do you get your information? Faux News???

the U. S. grew to alter into in contact in the 2nd international warfare for 2 motives. First, the jap attack us at Pearl Harbor and then released an all out attack against human beings everywhere in the Pacific (Guam, Wake, the Philippines). 2nd, Germany declared warfare on us and started out attacking American ships with their U boats. The destiny of the Jewish human beings had little to do with it. Many human beings have been skeptical approximately preliminary comments of the Holocaust. This grew to become into with the aid of fact that they have been deceived with the aid of anti-German propaganda in the 1st international warfare. lots of the atrocity memories that had helped ease us into the that warfare had grew to become out to be the two exaggerations or outright lies.

I think you've already alluded to the answer in your question.

There's no way I'll ever live long enough to understand liberal thinking - our policies of no effective response and inaction after numerous acts of terror and war perpetrated by the Islamic radicals culminated in the events of 9/11.
The democrats want to return to these policies.
Go figure.

The Democrats hate BUSH be cause he is a better Democrat then them. JFK asked us to give to this country , not always taking. The Democrat's are reminded of that every day by a Republican Who also said Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country. The Democrats seem to be saying now don't ask what you can do for your country because we will do every thing for you. The only thing we ask for is your money. That is why they hate him.
