ABSOLUTELY!!!!! Jorge Bush is a Mexican butt kisser! When he visited Mexico, their Pres.. DEMANDED that America do something about the border and immigration reform. Jorge just stood there with his stupid grin and listen to the insulting demands. What a total @ss!

I used to support him. After this amnesty bill, which he says isn't amnesty, I am so against him and livid over this crap!

The more I hear about the Senate's piece of crap amnesty bill, the worse it gets. They are such liars!

1) LIE: all illegals will have to pay a $5,000 fine TRUTH: the illegals that apply for citizenship will pay the fine
2) LIE: gang members will only be granted amnesty if they renounce their gang membership / background checks will be completed to make sure we don't let criminals in TRUTH: Gang members will LIE when they renounce their gang membership / pedophiles & child rapists are not on the list of criminals that are kept out / background checks MUST be completed in 24 hours (impossible)
3) LIE: this will stop the invasion of the 7 to 12 million illegals TRUTH: this only makes the problem worse! the current 20+ million will bring their families / illegals will lie about when they entered the US / BILLIONS more will come for the next round of amnesty
4) LIE: The current 12 million will be allowed to be legally here. That's fair for these hard working people TRUTH: People that have already started the process for citizenship have to start the process all over. The current 20+ million get a head of them in line
5) LIE: once the illegals are here, they will pay taxes and this will help our economy TRUTH: LIE!!!! They still won't pay taxes since their income is so low. AND they will probably qualify for a tax credit (AKA free money from the taxpayer)
6) LIE: they will continue to do the jobs "Americans won't do" TRUTH: BS! They will immedialtly look in the want ads to get a better job. The unskilled jobs will go to the new crop of illegals that will be coming

This is only part of the disaster from this bill!

We must continue hounding the weasels in Congress. Make them listen! Let them know that Americans don't want this pile of crap!

I'm "on the left" and I don't even like this Bill. I think if people are going to come into our country, they should do it legally. Also, giving amnesty will set a bad example and encourage other would-be illegal immigrants to try to rush over. Not to mention the fact it hurts working-class Americans who're losing jobs to illegals. One more thing is that it'll severely screw up Social Security and Medicare if we suddenly have millions of future beneficiaries who haven't been paying into the system with taxes nearly as long as the rest of us.
That's why a lot of Democrats in Congress are actually against the bill too, or at least for making changes to it.

President Bush only cares about big business, and people who will give him and his buddies votes. The influx of cheap labor pleases the big businesses, and the pandering to illegals who may soon be citizens wins him votes among their ranks as a trade-off for the few votes he loses in your ranks and then some.
If you really want to do something about it, do some letter writing campaigns or something to him. Hold protests. "Conservatives Against Amnesty" has a nice ring to it.

I have no problem with immigrants, I just don't like ILLEGAL immigrants, and I especially don't like them getting rewarded for bad behavior.

Well im a conservative, not nescessarily a republican, but yes.
When all the republican senators vote against it and Bush still keeps pushing it yea ... out of touch with the party he is supposedly a member of. Hell even alot of the dems voted against it. But it doesnt seem to bother George.
