I personally like him, I am just wondering how people can judge him so harshly without even really knowing him. So you may not agree with his policies, beliefs, or the Iraq conflict. I still can't understand why people are so willing to hate him instead of just saying I disagree with what he has done.

So why do some of you Hate him to the point you wish him dead?

This question is more targeted to those who Actually HATE him, not just dislike him... There is a difference! I see people on here wishing for him to die, I think that's SICK.

Bstrong: I assume you've never made a mistake in your life?? So if you have is it o.k. if we wish you dead?

Thejoker: He is anti-gay, but that doesn't make him BAD.. It just means his opinion differs from yours, Have you ever heard him say that Homosexuals should all DIE? NO you haven't. I think homosexuals are good people, I have nothing against you all... But I don't think what you do is right, But i'm not GOD so that's as far as my judgement goes, I don't have to be gay because you are, that's how I look at it. Just let him have his opinion.

Romare: To answer your question "Why do I still like him" Simply because I Do, I'm not blinded by all the Liberal crap spread about him throughout this country... I use my common sense. I understand that you don't... That's fine, I can understand why YOU don't... He's not your idea for America... But he is mine.

I like Pres Bush but I think a lot of people hate him because it's politically correct to hate him. The media, TV shows (such as Letterman, Daily Show, and that nice guy on HBO who's name I don't even know have made "entertainment" out of mocking/hating on Bush and in our society we allow our entertainers to manipulate us politically. One other thing is that he hasn't just cut N run as soon as things started going awry. Unfortunately in our society we tend to take the path of least resistence and he ain't a gonna do 'er. Good for him:) So that's what I think.

I don't hate him at all. And I don't wish him dead. I don't know that man personally, and for that reason, "hate" and "want him dead" are pretty strong.

I don't agree with his politics, or how he is performing his job. I dislike how he appears to only care for himself and will allow anyone else to fall for him as long as he still looks good. I also think there are too many "things" going on within his administration for things to be "fine" and have nothing wrong.

When 9/11 happened, I thought at first he handled himself rather well. I was almost impressed with him. But then the entire war thing came up, and then the 9/11 Commission and their findings (I own a copy of the report that was released). Right then, I saw a man using the deaths of 3,000 + fellow citizens in a horrific tragedy to further his own agenda. And from there, he has done nothing to prove my opinion as wrong.

Again, I think that "hate" is very strong. I do honestly believe that most don't "hate" him, but use the word to describe the intensity of their dislike for his policies and his job performance. I think fewer actually "hate" the man for whatever reason.

Surely you jest. Either that or your talking about that cartoon character Lil' Bush from Comedy Central. Our current Executive Branch has been transformed into a Criminal Empire that's kills innocents and treats the people of the world as slaves for the Elite--all in OUR name. You'd have to be one empty headed individual with no sense of right and wrong or set of values to ascertain that "HATING" this man is not a just position.

Resident Bush is mass murderer--he executed the most people in our history as the Gov. of Texas, sent soldier's to thier death in Iraq for a business deal, paid no heed to the warnings of the Clinton Adm. regarding Al Queda and the oncoming Air attacks, let our own citizenry drown while he stayed on vacation during Katrina and destroyed a 6,000 year old Nation and killed hundreds of thousands of it's people for a cause yet to be justified. WTF is wrong with you?

Well, I truly hope you read the posts from the people who abhor Bush, to learn that these people have really good reasons to abhor him. When I read these conservative posters who say it's because democrats want to be in power, or bush isn't corrupt enough for them, or liberals hate someone who loves America, it's like reading the thoughts of the mentally ill.

Look, we're spelling out why we don't like him.

If you like someone who tortures, takes away civil liberties, goes to war against innocent people for no reason he's willing to tell us (lies, all lies is what he's told us) steals from the treasury to give to his friends, divides the nation on religious grounds, uses anti-gay propaganda and voting initiatives to 'win' even tho his VP has a gay daughter, ignores global warming, punishes scientists who disagree with him, someone who cares about frozen embryos and can drop bombs on children, fine. You like someone like that. Don't pretend we are disliking him for silly, petty reasons.

He's a bad bad man.

Some people hate him, some people admire him, some people fear him. Iraqi, Afghan, Indian, Iranian, Nigerian, Australian.... Every person is entitled to their own opinion of any World leader or regional. nationalist or religous movement. What is needed is leadership in this diverse and at times unravelling World. Cudos to Bush, (your bad for lying) and to Reagan who showed remarkable leadership. Many other less powerful people have shown even greater leadership with less renougn , hatred or praise world wide. It's the media.

Sad to say, the Democrat party leaders have gone way to the left and have an agenda for this country with Bush winning twice it has delayed their plan for socialism by 8 years then the terrorists come in the picture and mess up their plan also. They can't comprehend that America actually elected him twice it's just not possible he had to have cheated! He is evil in their minds and there are always some who do no research of facts on their own but just jump on the Bush hate band wagon. And libs who have no real plans for what's good for America other then them controlling us have to have a villian they can point to and with the help of the main stream media it has worked pretty well. Notice that the ones who yell impeachment never give any evidence of crimes just scream. His tax cuts were very successful in keeping our economy strong even during war and a few natural catastraphes yes he never got any credit. Quite the opposite, the low unemployment numbers don't mean anything, the jobs people have taken don't count etc etc. Stock market at record highs don't mean anything under Bush but if they happened under a lib the media would be singing their praises from the roof tops. It's sad really but that's politics at it's worst.

I notice you stopped responding to your posters. I notice you note how open minded you are. So, now that you've read about these matters which are of grave concern to millions of your fellow Americans, do you understand the intensity of feeling?

It would be very interesting for you to respond to the points made by people like Jesse, Lois, Cassandra, Brainstorm etc and see if this forum is useful for anything.

Thanks so much for asking in a nice way.

Here is a hint:
Clinton: the Republicans must hurry to get anti-terrorist legislation passed to improve national security

Republican: [drag feet] Ho hummm [trim bill, trim bill] thank you Mr, Airline lobbyist for the campaign contributions.

Clinton: [to Bush]Osama bin Ladden is planning an attack on America. He should be your top priority, because he is the biggest threat against American security.

Bush: naaaaah Saddam is our biggest threat

I don't hate anyone, but Bush is a horrible president, and he is also not a nice person. He has done a great deal of serious harm to this country, and he only cares about the haves and the have mores. *sm*

The reason he's hated is plain, simple, and ridiculous. He's a social conservative, lives in Texas, and has a southern accent. That's just too much for the limousine liberals to take. The elitists just can't believe he got one over on them. That's really it. Nothing more, nothing less. I'm not saying it's not ok to disagree with his policies, hell I disagree with just about everything he's up to these days. But that's different than the uncontrolled, hysterical hatred you see in so many of the libs.

Bush is acting more like a dictator than any president we have ever had in the United States.

Dictators are generally hated by the masses but also feared.

Bush has done much to ensure that the people of the United States fear his tactics with domestic spying, the labeling of persons as "Enemy Combatants", though they have never once entered into armed conflict, and locking them up without charge and without any limit to the time they will be locked away.

Using at best "bad intel" to start a war with a country that had not threatened the US. Many agree that the "bad intel" is more a cover up of actual lies.

The use of signing statements to exclude the office of president from legislation passed by the United States Congress.

I could add to this list all night long. This president if allowed to continue unchecked, would absolutely destroy our country.
