I mean it looks slutty and trashy shes 160-170 lbs and wears them Im not jealous because the guys like me Im skinny and healthy and have plenty of guys after me and she has none at all and she wears tube tops and her breasts show through what to do we have all told her.

uh i dont wear stringy ones like her ok i wear the nice none revealing ones ok she is too big to wear it shes close to 200 lbs shes gained weight she told me and shes a lot shorter than me and it looks nasty and repulsive

160-170 pounds isnt really fat unless she's short. Just leave her alone, if she's happy with herself - don't bug her.
If it embarrasses you, let her know it then go about your business.
The way you defend yourself "I'm not jealous cause the guys like me I'm skinny and healthy and have plenty of guys after me and she has none at all" sounds really childish and makes it sound like you really ARE jealous.

You are a very caring person to post this question. Your cousin is lucky to have you. Yes, she is too large to wear a bikini of any sort. It seems like she is being selfish thinking only about herself. Ask her, just as a favor, to wear a nice one peice suit just for one day, if she doesn;t feel more comfortable, let her go back to her skany ways. You could tell her that unless she dresses more appropiately you are not going to hang out with her anymore. If she values your friendship, she will wear the suit.

Hey, its all about self-confidence. If shes confident enough about herself to dress in that manner, then who are you to judge? If shes in her teens, then by all means, go shopping with her and offer some advice. Just dont belittle her or do anything to destroy her ego. Offer constructive critism in such a way that she doesnt feel put down. Theres nothing wrong with big gals...maybe suggest a store specializing in big gals' clothing.

i usually either tell a friend - lets put something else on top of bikini because i want to walk around the beach and dont want to feel naked
or - if she doesnt follow my lead there is nothing else i can do - i let other people, strangers get to her, especially kids and teenagers are cruel and will say nasty things about looks

sign her up for what not to wear!!! idk if u have seen the show but it is really good it comes on tlc alot. about the bikini tell her that it would be much more flattering to cover up more. guys dont want to see all of that and neither does any one else!! has she seen norbit when that fat lady has on thatt bikini..ehhh nasty! any way just keep tellin her and have her watch the show

Have you tried video taping her and taking her picture so she can see how bad it looks for herself? I don't think just telling her is going to do the trick. She may have to see it with her own eyes.

Leave her alone. If it makes her feel good to wear bikinis, who are you to tell her not to?. If she looks ridiculous, that's her business not yours. You concentrate on looking sophisticated yourself, maybe she'll follow along. Being thin is no excuse for dressing like a street walker either. You may think that string bikini looks better on you but it probably doesn't.
